35mm lense adapter?

This is a new concept to me. Digital video is really flat - everything is always in focus. Now I see all these 35mm adapters that would allow my to get the really cool depth of field effects in video.

So here's the question: can anybody suggest, or point me in the right direction to, a 35mm adapter that would allow me to attach 35mm lenses for a Canon A-1 to a Canon Hf100? The A-1 lenses have prongs on them for the auto aperture, but NO autofocus. The locking rings look pretty standard. I just remembered they are called FD lenses. From the 70s.

The Hf100 has a 37mm filter diameter, with the threading on the inside.

So do they make anything that would work for that? I appreciate any advice.
