Great! I'm glad you didn't lose the camcorder. Sometimes it seems they take a great hit with no effect, but a small bump in just the wrong way can "break" them. Always a sinking-heart experience when you realize you might have just lost the use of several hundred $ of equipment.
Now how much do you charge for those "two smacks"? I am sure quite a few owners with broken camcorders would like to know the details of those... I *think* that if the smacks aren't done just right you end up with a more-broken camcorder.
