I am working on recovering a crashed hard drive in a Dell Dimension 3000 for a customer. He Was using an Optura 400 camera as a webcam. Through a IEEE 1394 Firewire card. I have the firewire working and can download from the Memory card on the Optura 400. The webcam software (webcam32) works with a USB webcam. But when I try to use the Optura 400 with the webcam software all I get is a black Preview screen. My customer said that the person that installed it 3 years ago had to get some special software from some website. I have tryed everything I know and can not get it to work. Does any one have an Idea as to what would be the software that would make the Optura 400 work with the webcam software?
