Replacing the DVC30

I've been shooting web production work with my DVC30 for the last 4 years now, and it's an awesome camera.. does what I need, comfortable, good light capture abilities and such..

Though not yet ready to jump into the HD farm for a while, I'm keeping an eye open for my next camera should my beloved DVC30 die on me.. I'd have to move fast to pick up a new camera to avoid down time. No signs of dying on my camera but I like to be prepared.

I use Movie Edit Pro to edit and author DVDs with great results.. I may be willing to step away from MiniDV if need be however, I need to be able to shoot and edit as easily as before. I like the big size of the DVC30 for my big hands which the weight lends towards stability as well..

But man, I'm stumped as to what the next camera will be.. there are too many to chose from..

Any ideas? I can't seem to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff when going through reviews and such..
