Broken mic holder
My camera fell and broke the mic holder, i can't find replacement part, nothing else was damaged in the fall, just broke the holder. Currently, i have it duct taped, looking for a permanent repair

I'm sure you already considered cementing the part. I don't know what kind of plastic it is, if it is a thermoplastic, you can use a solvent cement, which should produce a weld as good as the original material. Other kinds of plastic, possibly epoxy.
If the part is not available, can a new part be machined? Sometimes the part that is broken off can be replicated from plastic, aluminum, etc, and fastened to the remaining part.
Fortunately, I have a machine shop and am able to fabricate my own parts. I don't check this forum often, if you want to contact me, emptech@yahoo.com
