Are you asking if you can take the movie files from a Mini-DVD and burn them to a regular size DVD ??

If so, the answer is yes. You can take the .vob files (using DVD Decrypter or other ripper) or using Imagemixer, take individual mpeg files and using NeoDVD or Roxio burn them to a new DVD.

Thanks

Thank for the reply. My purpose is to simplize the process to combine .vob files from three mini-dvd (around 1.4 GB each) then copy to a regular 4.7GB DVD. Your way does work.

I know that I can make DVD copy directly from my min-DVD to 4.7 DVD (either DVD X Copy or Nero DVD). Let me give a scenario, can I append .VOB file from three mini-DVD togehter? On each mini-DVD, I have 'VTS_01_1.VOB' file, can I simply rename the one on second DVD to 'VTS_01_2.VOB', then make the copy to 4.7GB DVD?

In brief, can I bypass Dvd Decrypter and combine/copy .VOB files directly. I think that .VOB file from Sony DVD Camcorder is NOT encrypted.

Thanks again,

The Way I Managed to do this was using Image Mixer to get the MPEG files onto HD, then Using Movie Factory 3 to author a FULL dvd with menus, slideshows, etc

16:9

Don't spose you guys have done the above with 16:9 video. I've tried it everyway I can think of and I keep loosing the 16:9 ... it goes to a squashed 4:3.
Haven't tried movie factory 3, have you used this for 16:9 video ?

What about DV format instead of Video?

I am having trouble archiving the 1.4 GB -rw that I recorded in DV mode. I finalized the disc then copied it to my HD. There is a .vro, .inf, and .bup in a folder called DVD_RTAV. I copied them to the HD so I can reuse the discs until I figure out what to do with them.

I make a disc copy to a 4.7 GB -R of the discs I record in VIDEO format no problem. They play on stand alone player fine. Not so with the VR format discs.
