Camcorder for Indoor? GS120/GS200/ or else?

Hi,

My primary purpose of purchasing the camcorder is for indoor use.

I don't know how to measure the amount of lights available, so my definition of indoor use is
Day: amount of light will be coming from outside, which is very decent. The only time I found it inadequate is in a cloudy day. This observation is based on using an Olympus c740 for filming.

Night: 300W halogen floor stand lamp, or 2 x fluorescent light.

Anyone has tried to compare GS120 and GS200 using indoor. I ask this because GS200 has "Low light AE", it suppose to make some difference, but does it good enough to spend $350 more. If GS120 and GS200 is not good for indoor use, what would you suggest.

Any information would be much appreciated, as I desparately need one for family use.

Thank you.

The GS120 or 200 would be fine in those shooting conditions, especially in manual mode. You might want to go see these frame grabs of the GS120 and GS400 in total darkness except for a 2 AAA battery Maglite. The GS120 has slightly more light sensitivity than the GS400. Also, the GS120 has the same low light AE as the GS200. These three cams have approximately the same sensitivity in low light so choose the one that has the features you want.
