I am near to purchasing this camera, there are several available for around $2500 or less.

I was near purchsing the XL1S when I discovered the Panasonic

Weight is not a problem for me as I will be using a tripod always.

Is this camera too old and should I go with new or nearer new like GL2 or Sony

If I had the money it would be the Canon XL2 but I don`t and I want the most camera that will do the job without major problems.

I am doing Documenters and Vidios and Wildlife, indoors and out.

Any help would be most appreciated.
