When i try to transfer video using a firewire to my hp notebook i get this bad image, and the program stops working. The comp has a 1.2 processor, 18gig hard drive, 256 memory.I also have a pyro a/v link and a scd107 camcorder.Even regular playback onto the comp produces the same green and red lines. Thanks
most likeley this is the computer's problem..you should try using a diffrent editing program. if youre a bigenner or just make home videos Pinnacle Studio 8 should work seamlessley.
I tried it on my aunt's 2001 gateway laptop and it works fine. Must just be something missing in the comp, it's strange that the comp reconizes the camcorder, but won't play. Guess you need a new comp every 3 years.
