Sony DCR-DVD201 LCD not working
No picture on LCD screen. It's blank. Any tips or help on how to fix ?

Can you shoot through the eyepiece? That tells you if the camcorder has power.

If so, does the eypiece turn off when you open the LCD? If not, then the switch that turns on the LCD is broken.

Otherwise, I'm out of ideas. You might try the "reset" button...

Yes. ViewFinder is working fine.

LCD does turn off ViewFinder.

I tried manual reset and reset button on the camcorder.
I see the back light on LCD but no picture.

Verified Sony eservice, but they are expensive(Over $200). Any one know any places for repair ?
