Hello folks, i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on a problem im having with a DCR_DVD201E i just purchased.

Please forgive me if im just being a complete idiot here guys, but when i playback a movie i've recorded i get very low volume, even after i have the LCD open and the volume turned up full, I also hooked it up to my TV via S video and A/V connectors but only get video with no sound through the TV.

I haven't had one of those cams for a while now but I would suggest getting into the manual and finding the section on setting the sound recording up.
Choose the auto settings and make sure it is set to 48khz.
