Is the Sony version of vegas different than the previous one
i noticed that sony now owns Vegas (and just about everything else), so I was wondering what if any changes they made or if they are just the name on the side of the box with little to do with the actual programing.

Sony bought Vegas 4.0b from Sonic Foundry along with ACID, Sound Forge and a number of other similar apps. There have been no major updates to these programs except for minor bug fixes and changes to the logos and website links in the software.

concur, still using build 115 here cuz I'm afraid of what Sony might do (i.e., making it difficult to go back to a Sonic version, later on when they decide to enhance it in a way that is uhhh... questionable).
Time will tell..
