Nice one!

Would also be good to see the comparison between cameras in the 'best case scenarios' rather than the 'worst case scenarios' that are usually discussed.

Well lit, thoughtfully framed, whitebalanced with actors/subjects etc... to see how good the DV300/301 can get, rather than how well it can deal with certain conditions.

I may be in the minority though, as I'm not a run n gun person... I storyboard, rehearse, frame, light etc... so more of an old-school filmmaker during production (and very new-school during post-production - Magic Bullet, uprezzing etc!).

Doug,

I will try to post more "prepared" shots when I get a chance. Most (all) of my shooting are weddings, so it is really run and gun.

However, I am really wanting to move to do more film and creative work.

I can't say from experience but my feeling by working with the camera is that it will really shine if you have the time to set up the shot in that it has so much control.

I am thinking about taking it to the Toledo Zoo which should allow some really colorful and well composed shots.

PS ..I saw your clips, do you have any full versions posted of your work with the camera? seems like they were an intro or section from something larger?

Also when you say you do "uprezzing" in post what are you meaning. Are you sharpening it further in AE?
