Is Avid a better System then Adobe?. What I mean is Will I get more advanced options? Does the program run smoother then Adobe (system campability) . Does it have alot of bugs ? .. I'm a long time adobe preimeir user but not close minded. I'd like to know if this would be worth checking out
I'm thinking the same things. I've been using Premiere Pro 1.5 for about a year now, but I'd be interested in the differences or advantages that Avid Xpress Pro has.
Not an easy question to answer.
I am still a user of Premiere.
I have had demos of Avid capabilities that where impressive, nothing that I could have with premiere (color correction and color matching of two takes with different white balances).
But on the other hand I dont think Avid will be lighter on your system. It is very picky and would not pilot a firewire card if it is not based on a TI chip. If you are going to use Avid it is recommended you also invest in Avid hardware.
I am following the matter closely but I am not yet ready to jump in.
