I have my camera connected thru the firewire port, but I have no audio coming thru my speakers. My audio works fine when I play music, etc., it's just not picking up any audio when I am trying to capture video. Any ideas on how to fix this?

When you playback your video on your camera, can you hear the audio?

Yes - the camera has sound during playback, but it's not coming thru the speakers. I assume I have a cord plugged into the wrong place or something, but I can't figure out for the life of me where the problem is. I have made sure the "line in" settings are correct in the setup.

If you are hearing sound, on both camcorder and pc, your firewire cable might be bad. Try a different firewire cable or try to capture from a different camcorder.

I tried hooking up my analog camera to my PC and the audio isn't coming through for it either so it must be a setting I have wrong. I used to capture stuff from my camera to my PC all the time with no problems so I wonder what happened. It's not an issue with the ULead program b/c I've tried a couple other capture programs and still no sound coming thru. Interesting....and frustrating.

Have you checked your Master Volume control to see if everything is turned on and nothing is Muted (as I show for Microphone in my example) ?
