Sharing Powerbricks

Hello-

I was happily suprised when I could use my old Hi-8 Sony powerbrick with my new minidv TRV38 camcorder.

I am now thinking of getting a TRV19/22/33 as a second miniDV for my kids and wife to use and I was wondering if anyone can tell me which of these camcorders (or others) have powerbricks that would also be interchangeable with my TRV38?

Thanks-
TJC

It looks like all 3 of those do. Here's a list:

Does Powerbrick = battery or charger?

Hi-

Thanks for your response but I am really looking for the same page but for chargers...

I am not sure that interchangeable batteries is the same as interchangeable chargers. Although my CCD-TRV65 and DCR-TRV38 chargers are interchangeable the batteries are not.

Does anyone have a similar page that shows compatable chargers?

Thanks-
TJC

Maybe I don't know what you mean by a "powerbrick".
At first I thought you meant the charger that plugs into your camcorder, but then I realized that each camcorder comes with one so it doesn't matter if they're interchangable. (though I would guess that plug that goes into the camcorders are the same, and the charger output volts and current should certainly be the same)
Then I thought you meant a stand-alone charger. You know, so you could charge the battery for your next camcorder using the charger you already own. Your old charger works with your TRV38 battery, and the TRV19/22/33 use the same battery as your TRV38, so it has to fit.
Just for a little added info, I bought a QM91 battery and a charger from these people: http://www.power101.com/item.htm?id=60037.
The charger is AC/DC, was $12.95 shipped and I got it in 3 days. I'm happy with both the charger and battery.
