I am successful in capturing footage from PC1000E using USB and the footage looks really good (no frame drops or so). The capturing software I use is Vegas 6.0 vidcap. However, even though I record in 16:9 widescreen, the footage I capture is 720x576 (Yes, mine is PAL) and it doesn't shows as widescreen in WMV unless I re-render it using Vegas and specifies it to be a widescreen, which takes another hour for 15 mins footage. In fact, I am able to capture the widescreen footage before, but I don't remember how. Anyone knows how to catpures footage from PC1000 in widescreen mode? using USB?

The same happend with my Panasonic PV GS 39. i use VEGAS too and the moment i connect my cam. to the pc, it switches to 4:3 mode.
