Sharp viewcam z VL-Z1 cassette problem

Hey all,

Got a problem with the insertion of a cassette. If I power on the cam and eject the cassette compartment then close it without a tape it closes fine, however when I insert a tape and try to close it, it closes for a sec.then ejects without trying to fully seat itself. Called Sharp support which wasn't much help, he had no idea.Simply referred me to a repair shop which I need to ship it to N.Y. form FL. HA! Anyone else out there come accross this one? If so help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ski
