DVD camcorders do not work connected to a mount on a motorcycle. The high frequency vibes mess with the writing mechanism. I have a MiniDV camcorder (and helmetcam) and it works fine on a bike but one of the new hard drive camcorders intrigue me. I always transfer the recordings to the hard drive for web vids and don't need the tape media.

I'm wondering... will a hard drive writing mechanism on a motorcycle have the same issues as a DVD write?
