Can't get Sony HC-42 to reconnect to Avid
I had it once, avid can control it was a deck, it worked perfectly
but now i can;t get Avid to recognize it.

WinXP can see it, but not avid.

any ideas?

Did it work previously.
It is known that Avid can only pilot camcorders when your firewire card is based on an TI (texas instrument) chip.
