ilink not connecting...

i have used the dsrpdx10's ilink connection in the past to transfer my video into Adobe Premiere Pro for editing and publishing but have now run into the problem that my computer is not recognizing the camera as attached to capture video from. i know that the ilink port on my computer is working (i tested it with another device) and that the port on the camera is working (the screen shows recognition of the cable connection when i plug it in). i have also tried to capture the video directly into my ilink compliant dvd recorder with the same result, leading me to believe that there is a setting on the camera that has been changed preventing the computer and dvd player from taking control of the device... does anyone have any ideas about what setting this might be or if i am barking up the completely wrong tree???

thanks for any advice.

i'm having the same sort of problem....pc55

i have a pc55, i use the supplied 4 pin ilink to burn video to my computer. however, i just started to try and capture video clips off my tv. the tv is cool, has every input device you can image. the problem i'm having is that the camera won't display any video on the monitor, with either the ilink or the a/v cable attached to it. i'm assuming it works because i am able to download video from my camera to my pc still. any help would be appreciated, however, i noticed you haven't received any feedback for almost a week....
