how do i email a clip to somebody . I know windows media player won't play th mod files. Is there some kind of converter or recorder available to change the file into a more friendlier file? i have the gz-mg37u.

Hey bugatti, to shrink the video files down to a manageable size and convert them to a format most people can view, you need a video conversion program.

I would suggest VEMoDe. It's a free program that converts video into formats commonly used by portable devices such as iPod, PSP, PDA and cell phone. I suggest converting to iPod video format because both Mac and PC owners can view the video with Quicktime. There are many free programs that convert video but VEMoDe is supper easy to use.

Just rename your .MOD files to .MPG then jump right in.
