Avid Free Dv Pob getting edit back on to Canon DM-XM2

Hi

Could someone point me in the right direction plz, I've borrowed a Canon DM-XM2 from university for an assessment. The plan was to re-edit, then put the edit back to tape via the the canon, but I can not work out how to do it

Can anyone surgest anything
