I recenlty purchased DVX100b and did a live coverage of an event using xlr inputs.

With all settings (that I can find) properly set, mic with xlr input is not working but instead sound is coming thru attached mic on camera.

I tried input 1 and 2 with settings ch 1 select and ch 2 select on and input 1 on as well as ch1 audio and ch2 audio at max but no results

Same mic works without a problem on hvr a1u.

Any thoughts. I have another live event this weekend and I need to figure this out. Please help!!!

What camera? Is the mic built in or is there a line/mic plug? No MINI plug input to the camera for the XLR? If not poke around the menu settings, may be an option there to change settings.
