Smile hesitant video - slow motion

Hello,

I have the DVD403 Sony cam. For the most part, I truly enjoy it. But I have to say, sometimes, when I playback back my movies on either my computer or my DVD player, there seems to be the odd hiccup happening from time to time and a kind of hesitancy - or slow motion effect that only lasts a few seconds, but it is enough to be somewhat distracting.

Has anyone ever heard of this, and is there any way I can get rid of it? When I replay the movies on my cam, there is no sign of this problem.

I thank you for your time.

JR
