Would anyone know why I can't get my disk to finalize as I followed the instructions but in the last step there is nowhere to finalize. I did the disk in Video mode am using DVD-RW disk should I be using something different as I only had my camcord for a few days. It is so easy to use just that one problem how to get it to Finalize. thanks for any help.

plug the camcorder into the wall... you can't finalize from the battery, then going to your 'view' mode; go to the menu; and select finalize (also ensure you have your DVD in correctly).

Also! Consider that finalizing the DVD may only be necessary if you want to pop it right into a DVD player. If you want to edit the video, try copying the unfinalized VOB or VRO file from the mini-DVD onto your harddrive (or whatever), and convert, edit, mess with your video from there (I recall this worked out well on my Vista PC).

If successful, you'll save $$ on mini-DVD media!

I think you may have to hook up your camera to the accessory electrical component, not battery. Then proceed to finalize the dvd.
