questions re: Womble...
Hi! I'm new to the new MPEG2 format and after some reading, I decided to download the Womble trial software.
Some questions I have:
1. Can I save my finished product to my PC in another format besides the .wbp project file? Seems like it only gives me the option to burn to DVD.
2. When I preview my work prior to burning on the DVD the sound portion of the video is no longer in sync with the vid. What's up with that?
3. Can I use the finished product from this program and upload it to YouTube?
I come from the Windows Movie Maker format and WMM2 was so much easier to use, no latency, so user friendly and best of all it is FREE!
I'm an on call ER/CCRN Nurse so I don't have that much time to read thru every single tutorial before my trial period ends so any quick help would be great. (I tried to read the basics but could not find anything usefull.)
I would like to develope some degree of satisfaction before I waste err.. I mean spend money to get the program or ditch it and try something else.
Thanks!

Hello again, geuss no replies yet.
Can someone explain clearly how to post vids on youtube?
Or at least provide a useful link that explains the whole process clearly? I've searched a few dozen times, downloaded several converters, tried and retried converting with different formats but either the finished product was too large for youtube (1 conversion gave me a 7.9GB file for a 5 minute clip! LOL) , crappy quality, or a format would not load up to youtube.
I love the ease and use of my new SR82 camcorder but so far I haven't been able to post up vids.
I'm kinda missing my old MINI DV camcorder now which was a breeze when video editing.

I have about 40 hours of production time using Womble - going from the free version to the fee version. For what I need $99 is a fair deal. Once you get into Woble it is very easy and more flexible that WMM.
To your questions ...
1. Can I save my finished product to my PC in another format besides the .wbp project file? Seems like it only gives me the option to burn to DVD.
YES -- when you hit the record buttom you can save as AVI and MOV, MP4 formats. I save mostly to AVI, and do some final edits in Windows Movie Maker (its so easy to use) and then save the final product in wmv format. You canmanage file sizes in the womble export by changing screen sizes and frame rates. Also when you do the final conversion with WMM you can specify bit rates that control final file sizes - you may need to experiment a bit to get the file size / quality trade off right. 5 min ends up to be about a 10 meg file.
I am not expereinced with question 2 and 3
Good Luck
