Anyone know how much HC3 "HD" filming time can be used with the Sony NPFH100H Battery? I am filming a wedding and Sony told me that the NPFH100H is the lastest "biggest" battery... i just don't know if I should get 1 of these in addition to my stock battery or two (?)\
(im thinking two... but still want to know if anyone has clocked it)
I would think that would do unless you plan going over five hours or so. I have this battery but haven't used it yet. Try the battery check function. It gives the hours you can get with the viewfinder and the LCD. I have found this to usually be pretty accurate.

Ok, i purchased and used the battery for a wedding and got over six hours with it... i think it was going about 6.4 or 6.5 hours filming in HD mode.
Not bad. Didn't have to change the battery once and left after having used all the battery (just shy of 20 min remaining).

Yeah. I bought the battery and LOVED it. I got around 6 hours and 13 mins on a full charge. But then again I have three FH70s and one FH50 than came with the camcorder so I'm set for battery life.
