35mm lens adapter

hello all, I'm going to be buying a Red Rock Micro, M2 Cinema Lens Adapter for my Gl2. Although I'm not sure what type of 35mm lens to get for it. does any one have any suggestions??? I was thinking about getting either a Nikon, or Canon lens with the adapter. If anyones has a 35mm lens adapter for their Gl2, and has any suggestions about what kind of lens will work the best with the adapter any information will be appreciated.

not sure what type of lens mount you will have on it (canon, nikon, ???)

I have a home-built 35mm adapter, and my favorite lens is the Nikkor 50mm (Nikon mount, obviously). It's actually inexpensive (got mine new for $90 a few months back). It has a manual aperture adjustment, which, you'll definitely need. (a lot of new lenses made for digital cameras - have no way of adjusting the f stop - except the camera).

The DOF on this lens is brilliant...
