I don’t have a Sharp camcorder, so I don’t have any personal experience. If you have not found the solution, you may want to try Sony camcorder remedy. The Sony manual recommends that you remove all power, i.e., AC and the battery for a while and then reconnect to eject. Also, Sony camcorders have a reset button. This has worked for my mini DV for a locked cassette carriage.

Mine is dead, need help...
My Sharp Viewcam VL-NZ100u also has a cassette that will not eject. Its worth mentioning the camera acts completely dead. I've tested the batteries for power, and they are all good, and the AC adapter is delivers power. I've even pulled the lithium button battery and let it sit a while with no power before I installed a fresh lithium battery. It just doesn't respond at all. I had a day of recording on it, it died on the way home, and now the tape is stuck inside the camera.
Does anyone know how I can get it out? Maybe a manual eject? I'd rather send it to someone for service to salvage the MiniDV tape. I'd be willing to sell for parts if there is any value. I just dont want to sell it without trying to salvage my recording.
Thank you
