VS11+ - How to apply random pan & zoom

I am evaluating the trial version of VS11+ and am particularly interested in the random pan and zoom effect for stills.

I found how to apply random pan and zoom to stills using the movie wizard.

Does anyone know how to apply random pan and zoom to stills already on the timeline...or if it is even possible?

The short answer is that it is not possible to add random pan and zoom to stills already on the timeline. Random pan and zoom is not available in the VS editor and only available in Wizard mode.
The reason for this is that the random pan and zooms are fairly conservative by nature in the wizard because the program cannot "see" or "know" what the picture is. The purpose of the editor is to be able to adjust exactly what the pan and zoom will do on each specific still. The average person using the editor rather than the Wizard would probably be looking at that greater control factor.
For example if a random pan and zoom was applied to a particular head and shoulder shot of aunt Tilley. It starts with the shot of aunt Tilley and then zooms in on her and pans to the right so that the final impression we are left with is of aunt Tilley's nasal hair and left ear!
Alternately you can begin with the Wizard and select the random pan and zoom then switch the project to the editor mode and apply the finishing touches to each by previewing the project.
