Help,
I borrowed a friends Canon Optura 20 camcorder for a quick vacation. When I finished rewinding the tape to copy to a VHS tape, I put the first tape in the camcorder and it load the tape making a buzzing noise them the display said remove tape, a LED blinked on the screen and the tape ejected automatic.
Did I buy this camcorder or can it be fixed, if not what is a equal replacement for th Optura 20

Have you tried any other tapes in it?

Sometimes a tape can get jostled just right to loosen the tension on the reels -- and a camera will complain about that.

At least it ejected... My Optura 20 died when the tape carriage started binding at the end points. It wouldn't move out far enough to eject, nor move in far enough to "load" the tape for use.

yes I did
it make the same noise without a tape in it
if there is no tape in and you close the tape holder it runs through the loading process making noise and then ejects making the same noise.
