Recommendations on Wireless mics

I plan to use my XL2 for indoor interviews and would like to buy a set of wireless lapel mics. I know very little about audio and need advice on what to buy. Brands, models, specs, things to avoid? I need good quality sound without spending too much money.

Thanks for any help.

First thing to ask is, do you really need wireless? A cable is cheaper and more reliable. I use wireless out of convenience a lot of the time that I should be using a wired lav. I've just had to many times that I forget I'm wearing a cord and get surprisingly tugged hard and fast as a reminder. Kind of like the scene from my My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

Avoid Azden low end, I haven't tested the med-high end.
Audio Technica Pro88 is VHF two channels - pretty good for the money.
Most folks go for the Sennheiser Evolution G2 wireless. It is UHF and has over 1000 user selectable frequencies.
Here's a video on how to set one up on a Canon XL2 http://www.dvcreators.net/products/..._movieframe.htm
