I am curious. After a full 10 hour shooting day and you have dumped all your p2 footage on your external hard drive as you go. Is there a possibility of putting what is on the hard drive back onto my Mac Lap top and archiving the footage on to DVDs until the 3 week shoot is done and doing this every shoot day until the project is wrapped.?

Then come editing time you give the editor the dvd's from the complete shoot he brings up the footage from each DVD onto final cut and starts editing?

Is this how it works? and is my Mac book Pro laptop have enough space to put the p2 footage from the external harddrive all at once back onto the laptop so l can burn to DVD?
