Saturation on GS120

My needs may be a bit unique, but hopefully someone can help.

I'm taking videos of aquariums and have found the color saturation to be very low on these videos. When I used the video function on a digi-cam to take short videos, the scenes come out over-saturated, which is preferable to the under-saturated photos out of the GS120.

Can saturation be increased on the GS120? White balance appears about correct but saturation is so poor I can't use the results. This may even be a low contrast problem. Scenes are washed out and maybe increasing contrast would help. I've experimented with different lighting, but am wondering if the lighting is not adequate or if glass reflections may be causing some problem with exposure.

Another thing I've noticed is that the scene looks okay on the camera's LCD monitor, but not good on my computer monitor. Yet, the digi-cam's videos look over-saturated on my computer monitor.

Any suggestions?
