import an MP3
I am using Premiere CS3. It says an MP3 song is not supported. Is there a way to import a downloaded song into CS3 in MP3 format?

This probably doesn't help, but I use MusicMatch to convert my music to wav format before I import...

Edit: I just checked the help files for CS3 and they say MP3 is supported, and I double checked by importing an mp3 song. Everything went fine, so you may have a problem with your install or project settings.

hmm
Are you sure it's an MP3? I had the same problem with music from iTunes, but it turns out they are some format that you can't import into Premiere. You'll need to burn the music to a CD, and then rip it.
