Not happy with ZR850 video quality so far, please advise

I know about the camera needing help indoors but I am not happy with the outdoor quality on a sunny day either and I need to know if im doing anything wrong. The colors in the clip either look washed out or very over saturated. This is on all auto settings SP quality 4:3 This sample is DV AVI type I

1> Shoot the video with the sun at your back, not the side or front.
2> AVI videos always look crappy on the PC monitor. Have you tried to burn to a dvd and watch on your TV?
3> Shoot at 'P' and change to neutral and shoot again.

I have the 800 and it shoots excellent videos!

You need to fiddle around with the settings and not just leave it in easy mode. Here is some samples of videos using a ZR800:

Sample 1

Sample 2

Sample 3

Looking at your settings. I would try program AE at Sports. If that didn't work I would try shutter speed at 1/2000 and set image effects to vivid or neutral. Also make sure to do a white balance check before filming.
