Problem Downloading Still Images
I'm trying to get the still images off my A1 and on to my computer. When I plug it in and select the "card" switch' I don't see the camera under "Windows Explorer" and "My Computer" like I do with my still camera. How exactly do you get still images off the A1? By the way, there's no problem downloading video from my A1 to the computer. THANKS!!

Try a card reader.

Are you also switching the camcorder to play mode?

Yes, it's in play mode. The computer doesn't show anything like it does with my Sony HC3......Ya, a card reader is what I ended up using.....It'd be convenient to download still images with the card in the camera....but a card reader basically resolves this issue. Thanks for the replies.

I too am wanting to get some images off the card. I just had a look through the manual and there is nothing in there that mentions how to do that, so I presume it can't be done. Looks like I'm going to have to invest in a card reader.
