Earlier this year I wrote a utility for DV AVI files called "DV Media Player" (or DVMP for short) which was discussed on these forums at the time.

A few weeks ago a user mentioned in an email that they discovered DVMP because it was "mentioned in their Samsung camcorder user guide".

I was very surprised by this but despite asking them for more details (which model etc) I didn't get a further reply.

I'm quite sceptical about this, but if anyone has bought a Sumsung DV camcorder in the last 6 months, I'd be interested to hear if your user guide mentions DVMP.
