camera that uses standard sized DVDs?
Am I correct that there are no video cameras that record to standard size DVDs? I'm surprised this doesn't exist, since I would certainly be willing to have a larger camera in order for the DVD to easily fit and play in all computers/DVD players...

To the best of my knowledge a camcorder which uses standard size (12 cm) does not exist.

All tray players do play 8-cm disks, some slot-in players accept 8-cm disks too, but not all of them.

There was a model 3-4 years ago that used full size disks, but it was never popular because of its awkward size.
As noted, DVD player trays have an indent in them to hold the smaller disks centered while the tray is closing.
