GS85 and GS320
How much better is the GS320 across the board?
1-5 one making the least difference.
Thanks!

3. It has a MUCH better picture-better quality, brighter, and better colors. But that is the only difference. It has the same body, controls and features as the GS85. It is a little shinier though.

I have , and had many single ccd cams..(even cmos)...
I can respectfully say that 3ccd is like a WOW factor, for quality, sharpness, color clarity..
I vote a 5

But what about the 32x optical on the 85 versus the 10x on the 320?
I'm debating between these 2 models myself and while I would like to be able to zoom in on my son rounding the bases, I obviously would like the video quality to be able to make out that it is infact my son.
Any further insight is appreciated.

Necropost!
Ahem, the 32x zoom is nice but I would take the higher video quality. You will not use the full 32x zoom often enough to justify getting 1ccd instead of 3. 10x is plenty of zoom for most occasions.

Read Rich's post in the middle of this thread for a good explanation why you shouldn't go for those extremely large zoom lenses.
Good luck.

3ccd
I just got the 320 for Christmas and I love the picture quality especially the colors, It is worth the extra money the 3ccd system gets a 5.
