Question-just used photo feature on my dvd 408 for the 1st time. is there supposed to be somewhat of a long delay (est. 2 sec) after pressing shutter button? seems awfully long (shutter lag time) compared to a digital camera. using sandisk memory stick pro duo (1gb)-if this helps any.

I have a 403 model. There's definitely a longer shutter lag than with newer digicams, but I would classify it as 0.5 to 1 second. Longer than that and it must be having trouble finding a sharp focus.
