Controlling the camera through I-Link?
Hi:
I hope all is well. Does anyone know if I can control the camera through its I-Link? I need to zoom in & out, record, and stop recording through I-Link? Is this possible?

No, it is not possible to zoom in & out through i.Link which is also called Firewire and IEEE-1394.

You can receive live video through i.Link.

Are you sure you're not confusing i.Link with LANC? Both cams have LANC to use with controllers expressly for the purposes you described...
