ZR800 / ZR830 / ZR850 Thread

After five years of continual service my trusty ZR60 finally bit the dust. It could have been avoided, but I tried to hook the firewire cable to my new HTPC and blew my ZR60 (fried it). I found out that I wired the output front firewire wrong. Well as a replacement I bought a ZR850 with the extra battery, case and tape for 349.99 from Futureshop. I have been trying to learn all over since I was a pro with my ZR60. Especially low light conditions. Here is a sample low light movie I did of our Christmas tree. I would like this thread to be a tips for ZR800,ZR830 & ZR850 and also sample footage for others to share and enjoy.
Well here I start:

You really know how to shoot and you really know how to edit and you really know how to score. We have three ZR850's and one Elura 100 and one ZR830 in our family along with my Optura 50 and my HV20, you do fantastic work. When we get even near where you are I will know we have arrived. Thank You

I have a MD120 (PAL equivalent to the US ZR800) as well-it's easy to use and very easy to import and edit in iMovie and Premiere Elements.

Bought mine for $200 at Target, it was originally $400.

For zooming, I set it to "Speed 2".
