I have an Elura 80 and record primarily in widescreen and all was well. I did make a couple recording in non-widescreen. Then i switched back to widescreen and now when I pan around with the action the recording gets all jittery. I was in Easy tape mode, and put it in Auto tape mode to turn off image stablization in case that was affecting it, but no improvement. I put it back in non-widescreen and it records fine that way.

I really want the widescreen option thats the reason i got the Elura 80. I also removed the battery to reset everything but no improvement.

Wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions?

I emailed Canon and they basically said to mail it in for servicing.
