Which windscreens/on-cam light do you prefer?

I'm looking for a good high-wind protector and an on-camera light for my JVC GY-DV500 camcorder.

I have an on-camera AT835 shotgun mic. I'd like the windscreen to be somewhat able to take inclement weather, i.e. rain/snow. A couple I've seen listed that may work are a Lightwave MS-107, and a Rycote Softie.

For an on-camera light I'm looking for something with a 4-pin XLR cable to plug into the IDX double NP-1 battery mount. I've checked out BH Photo and similar sites, but I don't have any experience in this area so I don't know what's good/durable. I'd like to keep the total for the light under $350.

Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks,
bob
