Glass in Front of Lens?

Hi,

This is going to sound kind of weird. However, I need to film something with my GL2. I need to film a girl and she spit at the audience. I need the spit to hit what looks like the lens, but I would rather not have her spit on my actual lens.

Is there some sort of attachment I can mount on the front of my GL2 to which I could attache a piece of glass or plastic or something? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ron

You can get clear glass filters.

Or a UV filter would also work.

Many people routinely leave such filters on their lens to protect it anyway.

Use a large plastic bag to protect the remainder of the camcorder.
