Okay, I have no idea what I'm doing. This seems like it should be very simple, but it isn't working, and so I must be missing something basic. Right now I've got a VCR hooked up to my HC96, and I've got iMovie open, trying to import it. It's not showing any video when I push play on everything. What am I doing wrong?
Ah, I think I've got it. I think. It seems to be uploading. There was a thing I had to set in the camera itself. I love how the camera has a pass-through feature and a page in the manual about how to work it (p.97), but no mention at all of "pass-through" or "analog" or "transfer" in the index.
