Barely audible Audio

I was working with the A1U today for the first time, save for the fact that the audio is barely audible when played back through the camera. Only when maxing out the audio on Playback via the audio level switch can I even vaguely hear anything.

As far as I know, the settings are the factory defaults.

The XLR (connected to Input 1) is set as follows with the ECM-NV1 Mike:

INPUT 1:
REC CH SELECT: CH1
INPUT LEVEL: MIC
+48V: ON

INPUT 2:
INPUT LEVEL: MIC
+48V: ON

With the XLR out of the loop and using the internal microphones, no difference.

I was in the Menu settings but do not recall adjusting anything audio related.

Any input greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lyman

Ok, this is a bad reply, I know. But I dont hav my camera (an A1) with me.

In the menu there is a audio level control.
You can control the inputs seperately or put it all on auto.

Im sorry, but just keep looking.
