Hi everyone,

I'm having some fairly big (at least big to me) problems with my Hitachi DZ-MV230A camera. When I turn it on, it makes a loud buzzing sound which shakes the camera, and when it's in this state, it's impossible to switch modes (camera, camcorder) and its impossible to turn it off or eject the disc. The thing is, I can't even eject the disc when it's off anymore. Every so often if I mash on the buttons a purple eject word will come up on the screen and then I can, but unless it does that then I can't. I have no idea whats going on here, and I need to use it tonight. Does anyone know what the problem is or how I can fix it?
